STOP spouting nonsense!! Obviously, you don't know what you're talking about.

When you rip, you're making a 1:1 copy. Where in that process degrades the result? Who makes 2-3 backup copies of their movies? Stop trying to "contribute" to this thread.
Huh? I have 400+ 4K discs ripped/remuxed with MakeMkv to my NAS to watch via Plex. I use this drive & the WH14NS40. MakeMkv decrypts the disc and make 1:1 copy of the video & audio files on the disc.

Well... And if you pay with Bitcoin, why do you think the feds have raided tons of darkweb sites, and kept the bitcoins? Nsa running mountain server farms with power galore?

50% of the blockchain servers once controlled by 1 entity..... Bye bye no central control....

Why is China a major bitchain miner? When you can't officially convert in-county to yuan?

...

Why did they remove ad-hoc wifi from win10? When ad-hoc data doesn't need to go thru a central dns server, info from pc to pc doesn't need to go through centralized internet hubs vs directly from local pcs to pcs?

Why does win10 need so many permissions? Why does the AV need to submit samples to the cloud?

Why do modern phones often keep asking for location behind your back even with gps turned off? Why do cars have "crash recorders" and wifi capabilities? Surely, the Jeep hack has shown we don't need it!
https://www.wired.com/2015/07/hackers-remotely-kill-jeep-highway/

Anyone wondering why Teslas with 20+ cameras, radars, lasers, and sensors magically can't detect a 18-wheel truck in front of it, and kill the drivers crashing into them? Easy way for enemy countries to kill off key personnel.

You think the covid vaccines side effects are because they're new mrna tech... But oh, how fast they are "chipping" everyone to secretly tag everyone with unique identifiers. Because they can quicker release working vaccines like in China and Russia using inactivated viruses. Why go through a 50,000 step manufacturing process of the pfizer?

Take the Snowden leaks, extend the possibilities, and it's likely the feds are extending their monitoring with the patriot act.

Perhaps because they are the most populous country in the world where bitcoin mining resources are relatively cheap and the country well know for skirting any official rules?

Perhaps because people weren't using it and it had been superseded by Bluetooth for anyone wanting wireless P2P?

To help prevent 3rd parties getting admin access to your machine and then to your data?

Why does the AV need to submit samples to the cloud?
Because they are reports from the hacking front line that are used to evolve the defense logic?

Because location information is critical in how cell networks work?

Because black-box recorders have proven to be a good idea? However if you don't do it right then mistakes can be made. Let's face it, there's a ton of stuff on Jeeps that doesn't work very well, so why would their electronics be any different?

Because the driver was watching Harry Potter instead of watching the road? And I can take a gallon of gasoline and burn someone's house down. Should we ban gasoline?

The efficacy of Chinese and Russian vaccines is still a question. And it isn't a 50,000 step manufacturing process. If they wanted to "chip" people wouldn't they have already done it with the flu jabs?

No doubt, but let's keep our imaginations and fears in check. Why worry if you are being a good citizen?

I can't actually tell if you are being serious or ironic, but either way I had a few minutes to burn. Smilie

And my sincere apologies for going way off topic. laugh out loud

That sounds really cool. It would be nice if it had an option for a disk feeder, so you could put in a bunch of disks, and come back after vacation with your new library all set up.
