I always come to these threads to read the ingredient complaints. Then I realized I'm probably having McDonald's for lunch today so I bought a case for occasional use.
Reading up on the carrageenan and it seems that it may cause digestive issues and/or bloating. But no one talks about the dosing amount. So looking at the amount of fat in the shake overall (1gm) probably mostly coming from the vegetable oil, and the carrageenan is 4 ingredients away (meaning less), I would say the amount in the shake is very low. I understand the purist mentality, but overall this shake appears to be very good. Great source of lean protein. Sometimes you get sick of grilled chicken for every meal...

Not even as concerning as soybean oil (why add vegetable oil to a protein shake?) and carrageenan

Probably not good for lactose intolerance. I usually stick with isolate.

Isn't carrageenan from seaweed? What's the issue with that?
