Always down for some Costa, but most of them are plastic lens. Main reason I buy Costa is for the glass. Still a good deal, but the previous woot deal was hotter.

I get what you mean but as someone who uses that at work the plastic lenses are great. I've had them fall off my hat and hit the floor repeatedly without a scratch.

Cracked some glass lenses when the same happened. Glass is better clarity wise but plastic is much more durable and a lot are rated as safety glasses.

Bought some Costas with glass lenses from this site last week, and days later they canceled my order as well as other SDers. I wouldn't recommend buying from this site, and with these ones being plastic lenses, it's not worth the trouble.

Went with these polarized glass lens Persol glasses for $90 after a coupon: https://eyedictive.com/product/pe...ft-square/

Agreed. I generally liked Costa styles better, but only buy Maui Jims now.

I made my once a year trip to the dismal mall by our house to get the glass lens put back in a pair of costa sunglasses I own (have no idea how it popped out, but I could not get it back in). I went to sunglass hut and saw lots of maui jim on display. Please tell me they are not owned by luxottica as well.

If you come across Macy's coupons they usually forget to exclude Maui Jim. They actually ship from SGH, but SGH usually excludes discounts.

Woot is owned by Amazon and you can find some awesome deals. But they really are YMMV in terms of quality and customer service.

When I called Woot to complain about my cancelled order they told me the supplier was eyedictive. I thought that was intersting being eyedictive is also selling cheap on here so much.

Depends on use case. For long driving sessions, scratched lenses drive me crazy, plastic or glass. Glass has far better optical properties for people that don't have great eyesight.

I bought a Wii back in the day that was used and smelled horribly of cigaratte smoke, I was pretty pissed.

A little more recently I bought a 65" LG OLED, it was missing the back panel to cover the inputs, they credited my $100 when I called in to ask for a replacement and one wasn't available. It ended up being an absolutely smokin' deal as it was a refurb which had a new panel.

Playing the lottery is fun
