I'll need to sharpen chisels, and it'd be nice to have something to mount a buffing wheel to, as well.
Anyone have experience with this or grinders in general? I know the brand but even just the 5 year warranty seems solid.

You definitely shouldn't be sharpening chisels with a bench grinder...
Whet stone?
IMHO, the only time you should put a chisel to a grinder is when it isn't a chisel and you want it to be, it you want it to be something else.
What I mean if course is it's only suitable if you've damaged it so badly you need to grind a new bevel, or to put a bevel on something to use it as a chisel.
For sharpening, I recommend diamond stones like Paul Sellers uses (equiv of 250, 600,1200 grits and final finish on a leather strop with chromium oxide- Google his videos), Norton oil stones, Japanese water stones, or the cheapest which is the "Scary Sharp" method , which is sandpaper on plate glass. There's no sin in using a honing guide.
Grinders are good for shaping cutting edges, but heat thin metal very quickly which will weaken it's edge holding ability. Getting shaving sharp takes a little more finesse.
Of course the next thing you'll be looking at is a cbn wheel! Also very worth it!
If you have all the time in the world then yea going through stone grits can be good and satisfying.... but that isn't going to work when you need quick edges.

Using stones absolutely works quickly once you have initialized the chisel.
