Bought this last year, returned it. After doing indoor spin classes (Flywheel, Cyclebar) and trying a Peloton, I couldn't adjust to this bike or iFit.

Regarding the bike - really didn't like the digital resistance, and the highest resistance wasn't high enough for me (to equate, I'm generally riding 40-60 on Peloton, occasionally hitting 70-80). Also, something about the fit, I couldn't adjust the bike to be comfortable - perhaps the handlebars sat closer to the seat vs other spin bikes.

IFit - music and classes didn't seem to compare to Peloton.

So I returned it, bought a Peloton.
Not everyone can afford a Peleton unfortunately. This will fit most ppl budget.

A $300 bike vs a peloton a basic peloton is an unfair comparison. Peloton has good studio classes and competitive community, but iFit has better outdoor rides, possible incline/decline, as well as trainer controlled resistance. In the end, whatever gets you on and keeps you on.

We have been considering a peloton but are wary of the price and the delay in supply of peloton bikes. Can anyone tell me what if anything will be missing from the experience if I were to use this bike along with the peloton app? Does the peloton bike interact or connect with pelotons software?

You would need a cadence sensor, though I recall Peloton stopped supporting the use of 3rd party cadence sensors. Edit: you can use a cadence sensor, just download the app onto your bike if it is possible or tablet to make it simpler. they got rid of that phase-out i mentioned. originally those who used cadence sensors before 10/2020 were allowed to use it until 6/2021, and new customers wouldnt be allowed to use.

If you download the Peloton app on the bike, you wont be able to see your cadence and resistance. You can watch Peloton vid on another screen to keep your bike screen free to tell you your metrics.

$400 vs $2000. Are you seriously considering $300 product can match with a $2000?

It's definitely not unfair.

The comparison is not right...u want to compare bikes, compare at a similar price range with similar features.

If you don't like the classes, could you get this bike and then pay for the peloton class subscriptions?

Yes, u just have to get a cadence sensor so you can match the peloton app. You may be able to download peloton in the bike's screen, but not likely as the android version will be 7.0 or earlier. Eaaiest way is to use your tablet.

This bike doesn't have a screen. You have to use a tablet, which is actually a plus for me.

Been a member since 2004 and comparing this to a Peloton... Really?
