Looks like these are BNC connected cameras rather than ethernet.

IF you already have a bunch of BNC based camera wires run this might save you time redoing all of your existing setup. Otherwise a POE setup uses regular network cables that are easier to run everywhere and all that.
I have a 8 camera BNC setup now that works OK and I'm hoping to upgrade to POE myself soon seeing how most setups have the ports needed built into the DVR box that comes with them..

Explain... I've been running a LAView system for 6yrs, POE, 8 camera. Absolutely zero complaints. Crystal clear, app is decent. Really nothing to complain about. So, do tell...

Laview is a hikvision OEM reseller. I recommend this product if you are okay with BNC connectors. It's a good deal.

Because they were banned from selling in america that's why. Buying from hikvision supports the chinese communist party.

  • Poor/non-existent customer support
  • Bad quality products (read any review for any of their products)
  • The link for their desktop client on their website goes to a non-existent Dropbox download page
  • Their android and IOS apps are a buggy mess with each update breaking something else

I also have a LaView DVR system which I regret buying. I am looking to replace it but I still have it set up so I know how bad it is.

Does anyone know how to reset Laview camera model: LV-PB932F4? It has a rest button, but it doesn't seem to work. I have searched Youtube & a general web search. Nothing works. I had one camera quit, so I bought a used one, & it won't reset, either.
