Pasting from the last deal:

Here are a few things to consider about these speakers and brand, based on tons of reading and online research I've done over the past few months. Admittedly, I moved from not knowing about this brand to having a 3.x setup with them, then 5.x and now 7.x. Obviously, that's based on my impressions so YMMV.

The RC263 is a behemoth of a speaker. It's powerful, has nice bass to it (although it could benefit from a dedicated sub) and delivers clear sounds. It's really of insane value given its price. As mentioned, it's HUGE. make sure you account for its size on all dimensions before making the purchase. Take the measurements and verify it fits your media console or can comfortably sit on top of it. Some people suggested hanging it on a wall, but that sounds too obtrusive too given its size. Here's a review from the fantastic site "Audio Science Review" (link ): "The Infinity RC263 has excellent objective measurements for a budget center speaker. They have tried hard to hit key aspects of good sound in a horizontal center speaker within a very tough budget. So unless you can afford to spend a ton more, the RC263 makes for a very good center speaker in a home theater, augmented by a subwoofer"
The R162 (I have 4 of those) are amazing for their price. It's really a great speaker. Review (quote: "The Infinity R162 definitely seems to have benefited from good design. Whether on purpose (to sell better in showroom) or not, the elevated highs are a bit of an issue but fortunately that cam be tamed with equalization. The rest of the performance both objectively and subjective is very good and not at all that of a cheap junk speaker"). Once I got the R253 I actually felt that the R162 are of less value, but given their size they are still great. I use them for surround channels (L/R and back L/R. I put them on "PERLESMITH Universal Floor Speaker Stands 26 Inch for Surround Sound" for $70/pair).
The R152 are supposed to be little brother of the 162. They are smaller, but I don't know if its worth buying those when you can get the R162 for a few $ more.
The R253 tower (I own 2 of those) are fantastic. Review : "The Infinity Reference 253 is one hell of a package. You couldn't build one quarter of it for what they are selling it for right now. The new measurements show excellent performance, sans two bits: a dip around 2 kHz and too much treble energy. Both were easily fixable with EQ". That review also reports an issue with the tweeter range, but it's unclear whether that was a one-off or not. I couldn't hear issues with my unit, but I'm far from being an audiophile, and I don't own the relevant equipment to measure the sounds, as was done in the review. I'm happy with my units, to be clear.
The R263 are supposed to be even better than the 253. They are slightly bulkier, so I didn't get/hear them.

Brand/Service/Delivery:

When in stock, they ship super fast - you get it in 3-4 days. Don't think twice - order as IT WILL GO OOS soon.
When things go OOS and backordered, some have us waited ~6 weeks with very poor and conflicting communication from Harman Audio reps regarding the status of orders.
Many report packages arriving banged up. Mine missed a few inches of cardboard. However, I haven't read on someone who got a banged up product. Definitely take photos of the boxes once you get them, instead you need to report an issue.
HA have a 30 days return policy. I haven't tried it, but it sounds good on paper.
Some people report getting coupons codes for a small discount after contacting HA support and complaining about issues with past orders. YMMV.

Good luck!
A good sub can never be overkill
I have demo'd every speaker in this line in my theater room, feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the different options. Here are a few size comparison pictures between the RC252 & RC263 as well as the R152 & R162. It's a sizeable difference in both cases.

Here are a some snaps of my theater room using all Infinity Reference speakers in a 7.2.4 setup (subs are UM18-22's not Infinity). Please forgive any duplicate'ish photos. I didn't spend time going through them. Just wanted to grab some with speaker grills on and some off to give folks an idea of what these actually look like in a room. I also have a 5.1 setup to put in the living room because I like these speakers so much.

Anyone comparing over a $1000 speaker to a $150 speaker is either trolling or illiterate. No one needs to be a know-it-all to presume that AND feel good about themselves.

Got my centre , sub and surrounds. Pairing them with a Yamaha receiver and GoldenEye towers.
Not sure if I am doing anything wrong and if someone can shed some light before I return them.

The subwoofer is great, have placed it In a corner and throws loud punches but I feel it's not as tight as svs or rhythmic.

The centre and surrounds dont blend in with my golden ear towers. They seem to lack the warmness and crispness that my golden ear have . I guess you get what you pay for , since golden ears are atleast 3-4 times the cost which might be justified since I can now compare them side by side.

Can Some one who has listened to both ,please give their input and correct me if my Yamaha settings need to be tweaked or so or should I just match my golden ears to similar surrounds ?
.. but yeah. Step one: Run YPAO.

Any recommendations for a good amp/receiver for around 100-300? Thanks in advanced!

You should specify how large a room/space (which will inform how much power and the form factor), and whether you want two channel (stereo) or home theater - since $300 can buy you a decent entry Yamaha AV receiver, but that might be overkill or not even fit if you're looking to listen at your desk.

Got my rc252 and r12 sub no problems from UPS. I'm sure it's not as good as the rc263, but the rc252 works great for my setup. Replaced a pioneer sp-cp22 Andrew Jones and dialogue and movies are way clearer now. It's currently in my home theater (paired with an svs pb1000 pro sub and two pioneer sp-fs52 towers and micca mb42x surrounds. I know that mixing brands on the fronts is not recommended, but IMO for the center it sounds great with this setup. All music I run 2.1 anyway sod the center isn't in play.

The sub is in my other nearfield 2.1paired with some mica mb42x and is nice and not too boomy like the dayton sub 120 that it is replacing and has more extension than the Dayton sub 800 I had in the setup. Overall very happy, thanks to all slickdealers posting in this thread!

If you don't need a built-in DAC, Bluetooth, remote or a lot of inputs, I quite like and recommend the Kinter Amp that uses the classic Tripath chip.
https://www.amazon.com/Kinter-K20...B077Z7DBRT

It doesn't cost much money, and supports two inputs (they're mixed together if both are present, you don't need to select which input) to connect to a PC and optionally a streamer/BT receiver/Alexa/phone, etc. It will provide plenty of clean power (and low noise) for a bedroom and for use in a desktop. I started out with this and I've now moved it to my office, and I also picked up a spare one from Amazon warehouse deal. To be honest, if I'm just using it for regular gaming, Spotify music listening on desktop, I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in sound quality between it and the high-end Marantz HD-AMP1 compact stereo amplifier (sadly recently discontinued and doesn't seem to have a direct successor model) that I have for my main desktop setup. Now if I try hooking up to a high-end piano VST turned up in a larger room and with the louder SPLs, really demanding dynamics and high attack in the audio signal, then yes the little Kinter doesn't have the dynamic/peak power to deal with that, and I'll hear it distort at times, but it's ideal for desktop/bedroom/office and will get plenty loud for that application.

If you want to spend a bit more, I'd recommend checking out SMSL SA300 or Loxjie A30, with the A30 being the one I'd most favor due to its mix of features and that it includes a headphone amp, which the SA300 doesn't, but it's been hard to find it in stock anywhere. It recently just came back in stock at Aliexpress. Possibly you may want to wait for Amazon to restock it if you feel more comfortable dealing with them and their return policy. The SMSL AD-18 is worth some consideration too, but it's an older design with a different amp chip compared to the other two, which use the Infineon MA12070 amp chip. The A30 also uses an audiophile-grade ESS Sabre DAC, so you can connect to your PC using USB (can't remember which DAC the SA300 uses). These amps have a remote, they also have a low level subwoofer output, built-in Bluetooth, optical input in additional to stereo analog input.

Or for about the same money, and you have the space you can choose to get a Yamaha stereo receiver R-S202 for $150. It'll have a remote and Bluetooth and provide more power, but it doesn't have a sub out, so if you want to hook up a sub you'll need one that you can connect via the high-level speaker lines. The Sony STR-DH190 is also a well-made stereo receiver (it's NYT Wirecutter's pick for best Stereo receiver [nytimes.com]), which also includes a phono pre-amp for turntable. It used to cost the same as the Yamaha, but it's gone up to $170, which is a bit steep considering it was $100 during Black Friday sales. You can also search Craigslist for used Sony 2 channel stereo receivers made within the last 15 years, it's more or less the same core internal design they've used for over a decade, so that's the STR-DE197, STR-DH100, STR-DH130 (I've seen these often being sold quite cheaply on my local Craigslist). Do note none of these older models have Bluetooth or a phono input, but for BT you can buy a separate BT audio adapter pretty cheap. These three older models also only rated for minimum 8 Ohm impedance speaker loads (which is what the Infinity speakers are), so best to avoid hooking up any 4 Ohm speakers (generally these are really expensive, high-end speakers) and don't crank it too high if using 6 Ohm speakers. In the newest STR-DH190, they beefed up the power supply a bit to allow 6 Ohm speaker loads.

So I saw the heads up that the rc263 is huge.. I didn't get the warning that the rc252 is also massive! I mean it's bigger than my AVR.. it all works out, but I was really expecting something more discreet from the compact model lol.
