Ramen is about the only product not affected by inflation.
I remember paying 7 for 99 cents at the 99 Cents Only Store in the mid 90's.
(and 99 cents Whopper Wednesdays ! )
These aren't vegetarian just a heads up. The top ramen soy sauce flavor is vegetarian
I miss ramen.... I really do, but after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a few years back, there is no amount of insulin in the world I can take before eating these to prevent a bad spike. If you are even remotely carb conscious, for whatever reason, steer clear. There are good carbs and bad carbs... these are really bad carbs.

Haha good deal though OP. Wish I could partake.

It used to be that ordering something 'subscribe and save' would put the item in your next S&S shipment with the current price locked, and you wouldn't have to pay shipping. For this S&S deal with the Oriental flavor, when I try to place a S&S order, it says it will immediately send me the 1st shipment with 5% off, and place the item for continuing S&S with up to 15% off --- but SHIPPING IS NO LONGER FREE if you don't have Prime on this 1st shipment. Unless you have $25 in total for the order, then it's free regular shipping. Is anyone else having an issue like this? I just recently quit Prime because I wasn't using it much. I remember Amazon doing this for some S&S items in the past, but I hadn't come across it lately. Is there any way around this, or to force it back to ship with the next regular S&S shipment (and no shipping charge)?

I had that happen with something last month. I waited an hour and tried again and it worked correctly

If I exclude the flavor packet and add in veggies, meat, and season it myself with low sodium soy sauce, srirachia, and chili paste, can this even be semi healthy meal to have a couple times a week? I haven't eaten much noodles in the past year. Have had Costco nongshim udon bowls, boiled my own soba noodles and shirataki noodles which takes a bit of effort to rinse, dry and get rid of it's horrible smell.
No, someone posted the nutritional info 2 posts below yours (and it's only for 1/2 serving), and basically, this is junk food, as most instant noodles are. You'll want to buy the boxes of plain noodles or make your own noodles from flour. It won't taste as good without all the added fat but hopefully you can find one that fits your taste close enough.

They still have dollar Whopper Wednesdays believe it or not. It's about every other week or more. Other times it's 2 dollar Whopper Wednesdays.
