Page Number 12: This has all the external Port Details and you can see that it has HDMI 2.1 Port supporting 4K at 120 Hz and the One USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with Display Port.
is this a good price. If it was 1K its a good price. Costco's MSI GE 75 with 2070 in the past was 1200$ which is way better than this deal. What am i missing apart from the 5800H CPU?
Do you have any recent deal where a RTX 3060 card based laptop was available at $1000? Your expections doesn't dictate what deal is a good one or not... It's based on the current price situation and availability.
I wouldn't apply the GPU availability issue with Laptops. Thanks for posting deals. Does the 10% coupon apply to this? or Customer Service Chat to get reduction applies to this Laptop
The availability problems most definitely affect laptops, even though cryptominers aren't snapping up gaming laptops.
The supply limitation on desktop graphic cards isn't how fast chips can be put on PCBs, but the supply of GPU and GDDR chips... which come from the same production lines that make low-voltage GPUs and low-voltage GDDR for laptops.
Keep in mind this has an extremely ugly orange backlit single-zone keyboard similar to those old budget Acer nitro's with those red keyboards and it also has an outdated design so it's not a looker if that type of stuff bothers you. I don't know if the GPU is max-p or not as the intel version seems to be running around 90 watts which pretty much kills the prospect of this laptop IF it isn't max p as then the Omen outclasses it amongst others.
Also not sure about the mux switch which is very important.

Regarding the Keyboard, there is a $29 upgrade in the page to get a 4-zone RGB keyboard.
The RTX 3060 is probably 115W variant as per Notebook check. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Del...226.0.html

Again, does matter what you think or apply...but based on actual facts. rbv_shard has provided the exact reason and explained it clearly.

This is a pretty good spec'd laptop, but yeah, I think $1,000 would be a more reasonable price. With miners and chip shortage this and that, though, we are going to be ripped off for the foreseeable future.
That Ryzen is a beast. 8 Cores / 16 threads... Smokes the Intel i7-10875H... Especially in the iGPU area.
I haven't seen a quality laptop with similar specs any cheaper than this in quite a while. The CPU is a beast. The GPU is surely competent.
Where are you seeing anything like this near $1000? Especially with a 5800 series chip?
And I don't think I've seen any 2700 GPUs with a Ryzen 7 5800.

Still trying to find reviews......not much on reddit or other places yet either....
Quality was always the issue with the G Series in the past....
Especially cooling causing major throttling were the higher priced spec'd versions did not meet the performance. I just have a "Show Me" attitude that Dell actually puts the quality around the components. 115W 3060 and 5800H can be a beast, if Dell does not skimp housing and cooling.

Not trying to be negative but... While I'm impressed with the specs to price ratio.... I'm not too thrilled about the dated design language. blech
