Cons:
- Android version updates & security updates end on October 2021
=> Warranty: 6 month Google Manufacturer Limited Warranty, which means if you buy it now, your warranty will end in November.
- Released in the States on October 18, 2018; a bit old hardware but still works fine IMO.

Pros:
+ Brand new phone (just like the previous deal from Woot)
+ However, it is UNLOCKED bootloader this time, which means you can run Custom ROM such as LineageOS, AOSPExtended, Havoc, etc.

Or you can just flip it for the T-Mobile: Trade In; up to $380 off for Google: Pixel 2 series, 3 series, 3a series.

No it doesn't, that's sim locked and unlocked. Bootloader unlocked allows you to download 3rd party ROMs

From Woot website: "Google Pixel 3XL (Unlocked) (NEW) - Not Pink...The bootloader is UNLOCKED!!!!!!!!!! on these phones."

How do you live with yourself time consuming by spreading misinformation & confusion. 3 strikes you're out!

Ha I knew it. Newer samsungs are WAYYYY better now. I switched from pixels to a note10+ and it's super nice and fast. No issues at all. Except for using "lawnchair launcher " ,which is a pixel launcher clone. But that's easy change. The rest of the phone is super nice.

I wouldn't recommend anything other than flagship samsungs at this point. Again...install the launcher , change a few default apps, and your golden. Newer samsungs are faster and smoother than any pixel . And no I don't get pop up ads or anything,
I use a Pixel 4a, and that is pretty smooth for me. The price was right, but I ain't paying Samsung flagship phone prices. But yeah, at that price I expect it to be faster than most phones. I'm pretty happy with my Pixel 4a right now.

Although one of them, got submerged in a flooding and I think the battery is shot and needs to be replaced.

I can echo that, switched from Pixel 4 to Note 20 Ultra, and it's ultra fast in almost everything thing except receiving latest Android(version and patches)
Actually lately Samsung is allowing many Google apps as default like Google feed instead of Samsung etc.
And there is no comparison when it comes to screen/pixel density and brightness

Just received my 3xl 128gb today to replace my current 3xl 64gb(same color too! lol!). I've owned it since launch and has never given me issues.

Love camera, front facing stereo speakers. The wide angle selfie lens if pretty useful too.

I have been waiting on a deal for a pixel5 but there was none Frown

There is a well documented audio issue that the 3XL can have, where people can't hear you very well if you are using speaker phone. There are two mics I believe, and the speaker phone one can have issues. Something to check if you do purchase one.

Tello is switching to T mobile network. My current LG G8 Thinq is not compatible with T mobile network. Looking for a phone for a while. Any recommendations similar to LG G8? Pixel 3xl seems downgrade from LG G8.

I had to replace my 3xl due to charger port issue, bought a new 4a 5G and honestly cannot tell the difference. I think I prefer my 3xl except for the battery after 2 years.
I swapped to Samsung. My main issue was the front camera buzzing when trying to do video calls, I would need to hang up and recall until it fixed it self. The USB port just became an issue over the past 6 months where any usb charger would just fall out or the slightest movement would stop it from charging thus making me only go wirelessly charging. Next was the battery stopped holding a charge I got to a point were I would be at 100% then watch a 20 min YT video and be down to 60%. I have had shit service from google reps and their UBreak it company they use. I bought this deal through Woot but returned it when I found out there was no warranty on the phone and most pixel have that camera issue. This 3 year old phone was about $200 for a few extra I could get the new Samsung S21 for about $600, so I sprung for the samsung and I am glad I did. I still notice people using their s7 with no issue, google pixels seem to have issues after the 2 year mark. Not worth it in the long run tbh

I have a Samsung Galaxy s20 FE and really dislike the bloatware and the on screen fingerprint reader is horrible. I actually preferred the 3a XL over it.

OMG...I wish I had someone to help lead me the way to a newer phone! I've got a Pixel 2 128 and I've had it for about 3 years. I love EVERYTHING about it except for the battery. But, I need to get a new phone and would love to save myself some money if I knew for sure if this was worth buying.

Does fully unlocked mean bootloader unlocked ? I am not so sure and I recall some comments that seem to imply not unlockable. If it said bootloader unlockable that would be clear.
The first sentence under Features on Woot states it is bootloader unlocked this time.

It would be a good choice for a few years, but no 5G and no updates just like how it is for your current one. It should get you by until its battery gets worn also. Most apps don't require the latest Android version, but if you knew a techie who could hack and get you a ROM that updates to newer Android versions that could even extend the serviceable life longer. I have an older backup phone on Android 5. My banking app won't allow it. I don't have hacking experience but could learn it on XDA forums if it was a nice phone like the Pixel 3 I have for my daily use.

According to the description no earphone jack. I thought all phones before 2020 had a jack.

May 18-20 is a Google tech conference and there may be an announcement of a phone, like a 5a.
Yes the Pixel 5a is happening. More details in a few weeks.
