People should stay away from fan space heaters like this one. They're junk. I bought the same one without the Black and Decker branding from Home Depot and the performance was pitiful. Returned it for a ceramic heater. Spend the extra $10 and get a ceramic heater. You'll probably make the difference back on electricity.
BTW the Pelonis looks like the Black and Decker that was on Slickdeals for $23 the other day before it sold out. Just a different remote and color combo.

I have an older ceramic heater and it's worked well, but I mainly use an oil filled radiator style heater when I need a little extra heat. They seem to provide a nice even heat in a room. With that said, I bought the Mainstays model in the OP with the intent to use it primarily as a fan for cooling in the summer.

Link to compare would be nice.
I'd pay the extra 3-4 dollars just for better looks but thats not savings that's just preference.
The Mainstays model the OP presented is larger. It should be able to move and heat more air faster and more efficiently than the compact B&D model.
• Mainstay has 900W and 1500 watt heat settings.
• B&D has 750 and 1500 watt settings.
(Based in reading description and specs.)
