Lol what. Stick to your oly lifts. You want a raised heel for squats because nearly every individual won't have the ankle flexion to get the proper depth. It's really rare for me to see someone get proper squat depth and angles wearing chuck taylors.

Anyone with experience with these? They look like a running shoe, but more for training? What are they best for? (Yes, I read the Nike description, looking for some opinions.)

I don't have them but judging by the picture of the sole, they look better for dynamic workouts more than static lifting. I would stick with the Metcom. Great for lifting.

Thanks a lot! I am looking for a stiffer sole, especially around the toes. These don't appear to work.

Are the Metcoms stiff? Or in your opinion?

The Reebok nanos are real stiff. No experience with metcons.

heel is wayyy too soft for stability on heavy loads.

threw a pair into the cart at $79, discovered the extra 25% off. Totally hidden. Extra 15% CB is gravy.

overall reviews put these at a cross between the Peg's and Metcon's. Agree with mrmoody to stick with the Met's for any lifting work. I also highly recommend Reebok's Speed TR's if Metcon's and Nano's are too flat/hard for you.
