game changer for handheld mode

i cant play any other way and much better than those grips they sell for joycons

only downside is there is no rumble
Am I just being dumb or does this design seem like it could put a lot of torque on the rails of the switch and break it if a bit of pressure is applied or if dropped.

I'm quite happy with how the switch feels with the Satisfye grip. I also like how securely it holds the switch and the joy con. Definitely adds structural integrity where you can hold it with one hand without worrying about it.
What you're showing is just a grip, and does not functionally change the buttons or sticks. Not saying the Satisfye isn't worthy of consideration, but it's kind of an apples and oranges comparison to the Hori pads.

Love these! Have them in black. I find them sooo much nicer feeling than JoyCons!

Was hoping to grab a black one but for this price I'll take a midnight blue!

I love this controller. I can't play the Switch with the regular tiny joycons. These make it feel like you are handling a switch pro controller in handheld form.

Is deadzone as precise as dualshock 4 for fps games? Also is it able to combine as one controller, if not I can always 3d print an adapter.

It has no battery in it so it can't be used separately from the Switch. Also has no rumble, no gyro. I'm sure there is a hack to work around it though, I just haven't found it yet.

Do these pads fit okay with a switch in a typical travel case? And do they slide into a traditional charging dock?

Edit/Update: Researched my own questions and found out these pads will not fit into a typical travel case. Not a deal breaker for me. Also these do not need to be charged. They are powered by the Switch itself. In which case, I'm spending the extra $4-5 and getting the red pads to match my red Mario edition Switch.

Thanks for the input, then I'll stick with using my Dualshock 4 since I modded my switch and use it without any adapter.

I gave one of these to my nephew and he broke it immediately. Then got it replaced on warranty, and he broke it again. So be mindful of that-- maybe too delicate for kids.
