HOWEVER, the built-in CD player is worse than a $15 no-name children's CD player that you'll find at the local Walmart store. They break too easily and sometimes traps the CD inside. Bose does stand behind its product, even after the warranty expires. Unfortunately, it's a real hassle to exchange them multiple times.
(of course, for those who no longer use CDs, this is not really a problem)
Also... do not ever lose the remote control... or allow your pets to play with it.
