These will be $50 in two to three years
Intel claims this will happen in 2022, but Intel has been wrong about a lot of things recently. Near term you are likely to see $80 per TB SSD prices, perhaps dropping to $75/TB in a year or two.

'The Intel claim that HDD-SSD TCO cost crossover will happen as early as 2022 is unexpected and dramatic. If other NAND fabs and SSD manufacturers are of a similar mind, the HDD world's core market – the high-capacity nearline drive – could be facing a long and slow decline.'

I have this drive. I got it from Amazon last year during Cyber Monday for about the same cost.

It's an excellent SSD. The warranty is also excellent. It's great performance for the money.

I'm seriously considering getting another at this price point again.

Man am I happy this is not under $300 or I would have instantly bought, this would make for a incredible Steam game drive.

Dude, for this amount, you should snag it in a second! All my Steam games are on the same drive, and it's great. Before, I was using an HDD RAID 1 array for years.

Also, this drive has DRAM. You're not going to find a 4 TB drive lower than this with DRAM to possibly next year. I don't think this drive will be lower even in November.

I have a Samsung 2TB drive with about 400gigs free on steam, if it was almost full I probably would have jumped. Since the Samsung is still holding I am going to wait a bit longer, I am not in a rush. It is a good price though so this is a solid pickup!

The chip factories being worked on today will make ssd get to hdd prices in less than 10 years, but mfg sets the price so they will have to forego some profit to get there which is not a given

Specs say "Built for Endurance" ... with only 600TBW
This basically means you can write it 120 times over. Does it even get lower than this ?

Would also make a great PS5 drive for PS4 games and PS5 install files. I got an 860 Evo 4TB for this purpose and I love the space.
