Any feedback on this? I have the Osprey equivalent bag and the straps dig into your shoulders after a few hours.

Pretty much all of the packable bags will be like that because the straps have no substance to them in order to be packable.

Generally packable packs are not water resistent and can't be used in the rain or even the morning fog. Not sure about this one though.
