Annoyed I went for this and not the new keyboard for $199 on Amazon. Hopefully that comes back.

I'm not that broken up over it, I was willing to buy it for that price but any more than that I am good. I got a really nice Speck Pro Folio case from the AT&T store for $10 off another deal that was posted on here, think it is like $50 normally, and I have the wireless Magic Keyboard that I used with my Mac Mini so if I need a keyboard I can use that, otherwise just have the iPad in the Pro Folio case which also has a slot for my Apple Pencil. The Pro Folio even has a nice magnetic tab over the camera that flips down if you want to use the camera or flips back up to cover and protect when not in use.

This is pretty much where I landed. I was stoked at the idea of getting this for $99 and having my iPad double as a mini laptop with a lighted keyboard, but it's since occurred to me that I can just plug the backlit keyboard I already own into the iPad and get pretty much all the functionality I wanted out of this. I was ready to pay up to $200 for this, but by delaying it so long BB basically gave me the time to realize that I don't need one of these. Way to blow a sale, Best Buy!

WWDC has literally no update for IPAD OS. i dont think you will really have a usecase where you will type a zillion words with the magic keyboard. i was only excited thinking WWDC may bring some videoediting or pro apps to this. i feel $100 for pencil is more worthy than $300 for a keyboard with the OS limitaion

The Apple Pencil is incredible, I love it. I love my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil so much I think I am going to get another Pro and Pencil for my father. He has a MacBook Air he hasn't touched in like a year, just uses his desktop or iPhone since he's retired so I think he will be more likely to use the iPad plus he likes to paint so he can do that digitally on the iPad.

Best Buy has the 11 inch back in stock for $199. I was able to get them to honor my $99 purchase price from 1.5 months ago. Give it a shot on the chat. I ordered first then reached out to them and told them the story.
