If you do have the budget, definitely go for the higher brightness Panel with better sRGB coverage. But at this price, probably you won't get any gaming laptop with such display, even with lower end components like a Quad Core i5 and GTX 1650.

There is nothing called Nvidia 2660. This performs somewhere between GTX 1660 Ti and RTX 2060. And it gets plenty hot, like all budget gaming laptops and in full CPU + GPU load, it reaches 95 degree C before throttling down.
It has two Ram slots but no 2.5" Bay. For expansion, it has another M.2 slot.

I promise I don't want to be the "lol only 8GB RAM guy", but...

Kinda funny to see a PC with a 6GB graphics card and 8GB of system RAM lol.

Seems like a decent price to me for what you get, but agree with the others that display is lacking.

Seems like a great deal. I think this graphics card is comparable to the rtx 2060 roughly and to be under $700 is nice

It has two fans, which is huge plus - as an example, MSI GF with 1660 or 2060 comes with one fan only - but no sides fan grill... Any ideas on how hot it gets? Never use AMD or Radeon in laptops before Frown
And does RX 5600M get close to 2060 or 2660?
Ram upgradeable and slot for second 2.5 drive?

Ordered this, thanks for posting. Much slicker than the Walmart EVOO 15.6 with i5 10300H and GTX 1650 I ordered the other day, will be returning that tomorrow when it arrives.

If I actually need a laptop, I'd definitely get this. I haven't seen this level of graphics performance at this price point with a great CPU for a while.

BEWARE THE 250-NIT DISPLAY. I just bought an Inspiron 5000 with 250-nit display and it's pure garbage (Dell actually told me it's a 300-nit display but it's not---LIARS). The WVA does not appear to have very good viewing angles. I keep my other laptops on the lowest brightness setting---this one I have to have 3/4 high. I've tried contacting Dell about this display for over a week and have received ZERO response!

Every tech article the past couple of months hyping it up was based on an entry level model at $899.. that's where my comment stems from based on those sources.

I'm aware of the model mentioned by you, yet still that's not the entry level g15 at the stated $899 with a Ryzen 5 5600H at the price I'm referring to.
