You could wait for the new one to go on sale again but I've had this one for a few years with no issues. Even added a sensor for a second door.

I could not find any functional difference. Just better packaging and slightly smaller. Also white instead of black color.

Ditto on this. No issues for years and added another door sensor as well.
I like that you can set an auto close schedule times so you never have to worry about someone accidentally leaving it open all night.
I only wish the MyQ Yale-Liftmaster keypad front door locks would go on sale
If yours is built in to the unit, this is for those of us who don't have it built into the garage door unit.
