Honestly, notifications from cam are not very important to me. I even turn off it during night to have a good sleep. It was always animal. I used RING system for 1.5 years, and I found that I only checked the footages from my doorbell and not very often. So I think ring protect plus plan is a completely waste for me. But anyway, everyone has their own preferences. I prefer a one-time investment without monthly fee. I considered a NVR system but I don't wanna mess up with cables. So I don't have too many choices left and eufy seems good for me.
Odd - I have a wired one and 2 x battery ones (with the open box Wasserstein solar panel deal on AMZ warehouse for $20 each). They perform flawlessly (except on foggy nights when camera clouds up). I have a Netgear Business AC3000 mesh if that helps.
Battery remains at 95-100% and never need to charge. Without the panels, I was charging every 2 months and it was a hassle to get a ladder to remove the battery, charge and add back. I was basically having dead cameras for a week or two before I'd get to it.
