I recently got the French Vanilla and it is awful. It is way too bitter.

I did not experience that, mine was decent. I will say though it isn't as good as what you get at their store when you buy a cup.

Aldi has both whole bean and ground house brand D/Shop coffee. Approx $3.88/12oz. IMO the ground stuff is meh but the whole bean stuff was nice. Go figure.

To eliminate bitterness, weigh your coffee (use this calc https://goodcalculators.com/coffe...lculator/) & don't use hard water (you can try adding a tiny pinch of salt to the coffee grounds before you brew).

Starting to see 7 ounce bags of coffee on the shelves. Not DD brand. Yet?
The point is the traditional 1 pound of coffee (16ounces) has gone to 15 ounce,12 ounces,11 ounces...and now it seems 7 ounce bags has appeared

My first thought when I saw this post was "11 ounces?" I guess it's like the half-gallon of ice cream that became 1.75 qts and then 1.5 qts.

Last week when i saw ice cream containers, they looked like they shrank again. Maybe it was the 1.5 size. They were so small they looked 'cute funny'
