Found this at my local Home Depot. Cheapest I found online is $2,800 and they have it on clearance. Reviews are a mixed bag.

I bought the new Flex with the icemaker and water behind the panel from Costco with the $50 off coupon. Hoping that Samsung has gotten the compressor right but if not, it's Costco so there is some peace of mind.

Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator is flat out crazy. They are going to be hit by a massive recall within a year or so on them. The pressure is just starting to build on them.

Please explain.

If I look at ConsumerAffairs, they're the second highest rated brand. The review distribution looks nearly identical to other top tier brands such as Whirlpool.

Samsung fridges are failing at an alarming rate. Both the ice maker systems are failing as well as the temp control in many of them are inaccurate.

Consumer Affairs is not entirely different than JD Power for cars... You can pay to advance into first place. My 2017 era $3k French Door with 2 drawers has an icemaker that freezes up and has to be unfrozen with a hairdryer probably once every 60-90 days. And you can't have the hairdryer on high otherwise you'll melt the plastic in the fridge, so it takes at least an hour on low to unfreeze the thing. It was great till early 2020 and then it started acting up.

I have never heard of paying off consumer affairs. Can you show the proof? Samsung and LG have a bad rep here. My LG still works perfectly after 5 years so far. The Samsung Bespoke I just bought is 3k and since it's Costco they will take care of me if something goes wrong. Totally different design than their old stuff but will see how it goes.

Have this exact fridge. Ice maker failure which is a known issue. Also sealed system issue with the freezer compressor line where freon completely emptied. Numerous videos on YouTube on the ice maker. Stay away from Sammy fridges
