G15 5510 for $660 with an option to upgrade to rtx3050 for +$40 is not a deal, but this one seems to be the deal for people. Am I missing something? 4 core vs 6 core, right. But 1650 vs 3050... Tho 3050 is nothing super or power horse, but still..

A 1650 is pretty bad at this pricepoint and it has a 250 NIT screen, worse yet is that it's HP. I'd wait a few more months and I bet they'll have some deals with a RTX 20 series laptop.

That's what I thought. My kiddos laptop just died, and I was looking for something capable to do from home schooling and word to photo/video editing with adobe CS6 suite she is learning right now. She use to have Dell 7567, 32gb ram, ssd boot+2tb storage 1050ti one and it was a power horse.
