4K & Blu-ray Movies: The Invisible Man, Yesterday & More Expired

I never said I had a sharp tv. Never said it was 1080P either.

Is The Invisible Man 4K worth a blind buy? Gets a really good review on Blu-ray.com, but never seen it. There's a bunch of movies on here I already own, should have waited for this sale haha.

I did read your comments... in other threads asking people what they thought of their OLEDs... a couple of weeks ago. So... the only Sharp Elite LCD made in 2011 and 2012 as you said(or I guess your dad posted that and you are using his account?)... is 1080p... but anyway... cool story bro .

Side note, on the Disney/Hulu thread... these two posts... right next to each other... doesn't tell a great story. Might want to edit one or the other... unless you are meaning to make those disparaging remarks about your family, and if so, sorry to hear it .

I recommend you read my comments before typing out a paragraph of nonsense. I never said I had a sharp tv. Never said it was 1080P either. I own a 4k HDR projector and the LG 83" OLED. Still own a VT60 plasma because motion can't be touched on it, and a sharp Elite LCD.

With that being said, 4k HDR Blu rays are barely noticeable, and in most cases even worse than 1080P Blu rays. I'll stick to Blu rays unless the transfer is significant enough to upgrade, which isn't the case 99% of the time.

My bad you don't stream movies and we are going by retail prices got it.

So if that "$10,000 dollar sound system and 150" screen" includes the "4k HDR projector and the LG 83" OLED" we know were all your budget went to.

If not which object based design setup is this $10K "sound system" that you have?

So let me get this straight you bought a "4k HDR projector" and a "150" screen" to watch 1920X1080 content using a Xbox/PS5!!!!!

UHD 4K disc has 3840X2160 resolution & your "4K HDR projector" is capable of possibly the same BUT you SEE "insignificant "upgrade", and in some cases a downgrade" between those two!

After all that spending you're telling people they are wasting money buying a $5 4K disc over how much do you buy that BD disc for again?

There are some DVDs that look better than 4k of the same movies, especially color wise. Not everything is about pixel density. Your brain is too dense to realize this though. You'll be a clown buying the 8k tv this year. 🤡

If you can't tell the difference between UHD + HDR... I can't help you. If you can't take a hint from the fact that everyone in the thread is giving you evidence (not to mention websites like blu-ray.com, rtings, HDTVTest, etc. providing substantial empirical evidence, both visual and with data)... and your only responses are BS and clown emojis... There's multiple people on here who agree with me. Evidence? I literally have the evidence side by side in my house. But have fun going by other peoples opinions and looking at screenshots through a computer screen.

Same holds true for the AQ side, why I asked what set up you used to compare it to non object based codecs!

It's only a waste of money of you're broke, which you clearly are. I watch 4k content on it, it's just not a significant upgrade for most people, and sometimes worse than regular Blu ray it's a fact. I am fortunate enough to know this and own all of this to test since I have the money to burn. You on the other hand, is still getting allowance from mommy. 👍
