What a ridiculous statement. H‑E‑B is always at the top of grocery retailers annual lists. There are certain retailers in parts of the US who are known to have amazing stores, and anyone who has travelled has encountered them.

H‑E‑B = Texas
Meijer = Midwest, upper middle
Wegman's = NE for the most part, but a little East as well
Publix = Florida

There's many more than that short list. Kroger does a good job also, but they are bigger than the regional retailers.

That's not true at all and was your experience. I've been renting for 14 years now. Houston and Dallas. Some cities even come out and do inspections of individual homes before you can live there, inspection is usually tied with the water bill. If a place is like that you let them have it 🖕🏼and move out when lease is over.

I do feel like we are going down the rabbit hole in this thread now...

There's a Walmart literally right behind my house. It's my house, the fence, some trees and the Walmart. I still drive to HEB for my groceries. I love that place.

If I'm at Walmart to grab a couple things I need and there are also a few grocery items I have to pick up, I'll leave Walmart and drive down the street to HEB. Doesn't even matter if it's rush hour.
