The battery is replaceable, but costs about the same / more as a new unit, so really no point in replacing the battery. I've had three of these I got for less than $20 on clearance at Walmart. They lasted 4-6 years.

Can we nip this "starting from $x" trend in the bud?

Click-baity titles are good for store advertisements, not for a deal forum.
Combining UPSs and surge protectors in the title and saying starting from $10 is misleading.

I know SD Staff pioneered the style :p
hoping forum members agree.

I've never purchased this brand of ups. Can anyone chime in on the quality?

I owned 2 CyberPower UPS model # CP1500PFCLCD. They're about 5+ years old now. 1 of them is developing signs of a circuit short circuiting (the front panel buttons are pressed, phantom cycling through the menu). I would still buy another, but got to wait for a good deal to replace the bad one with an updated design of the same model # line. The inflation/pricing on these are high. I used to buy these for about $140. Now they're $200+. I used to buy APC, but their batteries don't last. The batteries in these CyberPower have lasted for quite a long time even for their minimal usage and I have yet to replace them. APC on the other hand... I've trashed them.

Costco does carry the CyberPower brand, so they should be reliable enough to be selected. But they don't carry the model that I wish to purchase.

I am not experienced, but I was researching on UPSs recently. Threads here and on other sites were saying that Cyberpower support is unhelpful and asks you to pay for shipping to their repair center in CA even though the item is under warranty. I eventually bit on the Eaton promotion.

Cyberpower always seems low quality from the build, but any I've deployed have always lasted on par with APC or Triplite

So, is the CyberPower UPS 650VA/375W SX650G @ $32.99 not a good deal? In the market for something like it.

I'd be fine with it if there were only UPSs in the listing

It's not this particular model but I've set up two Cyberpower pure sinewave UPS in two different locations and both locations had a PC hooked up to them. After a few months both had fried their PSU's. Bad batch maybe? Or it might be isolated to me but I'll never trust this brand on my sensitive equipment again. Even if it's pure sinewave.

OP, remove the photo! It's misleading and a waste of our time!

It's not even a slick price!

Were they line interactive UPSes? Most UPSes aren't doing anything to your power unless it's really bad or the power is out, so I'm guessing it's either just a coincidence, or you have problems with your utility power.

I really hope what you wrote is misleading or incorrect. So I'll ask for additional information. The last ups I bought was ten years ago, and it is a pure sine wave APC (by the way these units are simulated sine wave, so no computers on these. Fish tank air maybe..) and it would flag under/over voltage and I believe for spikes and brown outs, to protect my equipment.

If these do not condition the power (by whatever means) then what spec should one look for to ensure it conditions the power?
