The LED to indicate battery percentage is cool, and with the LED off on the mouse I get a pretty long battery life.
It's nice to have my mouse be wireless, but the build quality on that thumb grip after a few months of usage is disappointing. If the g502 wireless was cheaper I'd go with to that, feels cheap compared to the 502. But at $100, this is hard to beat.

I turned off the RGB completely and so far I'm having great battery life, matter of fact never really worried about it. Just put it on the dock when you are consuming medium or not using the mouse. The software is your typical manufacturers' bloat, not a fan and didn't really use it at all other than setting up buttons initially. Would recommend 100% at this price.

i have the razer viper and when no battery the mouse will disconnect the same with the wireless headphone powered by usb unfortunately they need some improvement
Yeah, I've seen similar comments about Razer on buildapcsales. I've also seen somewhat similar comments about Logitech. I guess you could pay an additional $15 for a two year Best Buy warranty, but based on some comments I've read today... I'm not sure it would be worth it. Kinda wish they had display models to try out in-store

That being said, I have no problems with the battery life. There is no lag. I've never had a connection problem. It glides great even over a (poorly) finished wood surface. Easy customization like reassigning buttons and changing dpi.
I'd only recommend this for itinerant gamers. This is NOT a productivity mouse and not likely a good do-it-all mouse.
