I've daily driven yellow switches for a few years now. I like them a lot as far as linear switches are concerned. Switch preference is very subjective... But if you like linear switches they're one of the better ones out there. I previously used Cherry black (linear) and browns (tactile). I like the far lower actuation force. Anything clicky like green switches is too annoying for me.
I have the same question. Currently use cherry speed and like them a lot and was wondering about the yellow.
These will sound like construction workers comapred to cherry silvers. Razers keyboards are inherently loud even the orange/yellow switches are significantly louder than cherry MX equivalents. Will also say, I love my original black widow chroma, I have had it since 2015 and beat the absolute shit out of it and it still works; but over the years they have seriously started cheaping out on materials. They're almost entirely plastic now and just don't have a premium feel to them anymore. I'd recommend going with Corsair K-series for a premium feel, or going all out on the mechanical front and looking for a ducky keyboard.

Thank you for the response. I ended up getting a K100 with the OPX Switch (work paid for half of the cost).
