is there a way to see if this will work on my Prime acct?

I do remember doing a similar promo a few years ago(at least 5 or 6 years ago). I remembergoing to a CVS and added $40 or $50 in cash to my Amazon Cash account... then getting a $10 or $15 promo in my account.

Usually other Amazon promos will tell you if you qualify or not...

I had the same question despite Richspys snooty answer. I have no desire to use Amazon cash at an actual store. I just want to get the free $10 and wanted to know if I can just apply Amazon cash to an Amazon online purchase.

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes but it's not 100% clear.

Chances are that it will. I did this Amazon Cash promo last year and I managed to stack $50 worth of Amazon credit. Only downside is that now I'm not eligible for this offer now 🤷 oh well lol

Amazon is trying to capture the demographic that doesn't have credit cards. This allows them to use cash to add to their Amazon Gift Balance via brick and mortar stores like CVS or Walgreens.

I don't see this offer on any Amazon Cash page... Just details here. The post details doesn't link to any Amazon offer details, just how Amazon cash works. I'm confused as to if this is ymmv or something.

"First Time" for Amazon cash customers? I think the last guy that hasn't used Amazon is somebody living in a grass hut on the banks of the Amazon river with no internet service (soon to be joined by Mike Pence rumor has it). So this is geared toward that one guy, right?

using amazon's bar code, i deposited $51 at my local 7-11
the credit showed up on my cash card balance quickly.
the clerk said there is usually a $3 commission
but it was waived presumably for first timers.

now come the grueling wait for that $10 extra email.

i will update this post once it shows up.
