If it has an USB port.

Nah, it's not compatible with that. You would need a 386 processor. :^)

No.

Technically, headphone amps (like these are) and speaker amps are interchangeable, but they are designed for different impedance. Speakers from car audio to home theater are 1ohm to 16ohm usually, with 4/6/8ohm being the most widely designed. Headphones are almost exclusively 16ohm-600ohm in extreme cases. Anything from burning out a speaker to the amp can happen....and likely, if they didn't destroy each other, there wouldn't be enough volume anyways.

Anyone who buys anything from CREATIVE without researching their business practices, deserves what they get.

Meanwhile, FiiO makes decent DACs. I generally stick with them when it comes to ones used with phones especially.
My life has become very difficult after feeling compelled to research the ethics of every company involved with all of my purchases. Last time I wanted peanut butter it took me three months to buy a jar.
All I can think of is Port 220, IRQ 5 and DMA 1 FTW

Yep - I did this on a 30% sale several months ago. The refurb is marked down significantly then the coupon knocks it down even more. The BlasterX G6 is normally excluded from the coupon, but the refurb is not. Shame there aren't more refurbished products to stack.

Looks like they bumped prices for this "sale", G6 Refurb is normally $70-80 but it's now marked @ $99

This is a solid DAC to use with my iPhone now that Apple has gone lossless. In for one!

Edit: G6 is OOS but the G5 is available. Picked the G5 up since it can do 24bit/192hz.

I was ready to call this garbage, but:
https://www.audiosciencereview.co...x-g6.7016/

That being said, these things are useable mainly for gaming and consuming media. For creators and production, you're going to want a DAC with good ASIO support, and a good microphone amp, such as a Audient ID4, Scarlett 2i2, or MOTU M2.

Apple Music now streams up to 24bit/192hz but to get that you need a external DAC since the internal doesn't go as high.

No wonder I can't get my SB AWE32 to work in Win10.

I won't be needing or using the drivers. From a price and hardware standpoint it's a solid DAC. I'll need a lightning adapter to power and send the signal.

I would like to add the SSL 2/2+ to your list. Solid pre-amps, great sound, easy use. And at decent price point for anything with the Solid State Logic brand stamped on it.

Cheaper than a Schiit Hel and a Fulla 4, but PS5 compatible as well.

This is likely the answer for many gamers with a PS5 that want Tempest 3D Audio, but want to use their own headphones. Without using the crap-tacular onboard output of the controller.

The Drop/Hifiman 400i/xx series is about the upper range of headphone this thing will drive and its not going to be that spectacular. Keep to your slightly easier to drive dynamic driver headphones and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
