I think clearance. I'm not a costco deal pro, but I remember prices ending in 97 are basically final close out, and these toilets aren't regularly stocked.

It has some seriously crappy 1-star reviews which would make most avoid ever buying this.

Seat too small and uncomfortable. Water level so high can't use TP without getting it wet. Breaks resulting in serious damage. etc.
