These seem decent though reviews are usual mix which might mean some people don't know what to expect from them or how to use them. I don't think Southwire is as good a brand as some of the traditional professional electrician's tools like Klein. Most Southwire is made in China; not sure about these. I think maybe I could make out "India" etched on the blade in one of the photos. Interesting that they post the front package image, but not the back of the package that usually has details including "made in ___." But I'm expecting China or India.

That said, these still look handy, and the 3 dromedaries say lowest has been $12.57, so this is definitely a good price. I did decide to get two of them at this price.

I never knew something like this existed. I use a multipurpose pair from HD that are razor sharp and seem to cut through anything. They're red and black but can't remember the name.

Most likely Milwaukee brand. Southwire is ok but I highly recommend Kleins, though a little more pricier.

Wonder why these were coined as electrician anything?

Only good for low voltage work using small gauge wire. Almost exclusively used by telco technicians.
