look for question #11 under "gift cards." it doesn't appear to have an expiration. the major difference between it and a gift card seems to be that the bonus card cannot be used for tips.

If you don't like cheesecake/layer cake or if you don't order cheesecake/layer cake, then maybe the $30 is nice.
Otherwise, in a normal year, I can get 8 slice of joys for 8 cheesecake or layer cake for spending $100 in gift cards (the holiday promo gives you 2 slices per each $25 gift card) - that's roughly $80 in savings vs. $30 from this gift card promo.
But I guess if you ran out of gift cards from the holiday promo, then this is a good deal.
