Free shipping 35+. So I price matched this with Bestbuy. Surprising it turned out to be $27.99 when I spoke with Bestbuy agent even though on Bestbuy website it's still 39.99. Quite hard to find this game at 29.99

This was my Game of the Year last year. Such a great, weird, twisting narrative story that I felt compelled to 100%, a rare occasion for me with video games. It's a Visual Novel for telling you the story and a Tower Defense as the game.

Closer to a slowed down RTS for gameplay, but the visual novel aspect has lots of branching paths and little things to figure out (how do I do this differently to get this path?) too. Either way incredible game.

Great artwork, it's a visual novel style game with strategy based mech combat. The combat is not all too difficult. The only gripe I had there are a few storylines where it's hard to figure out the alternative pathways to progress the story (trial and error mostly to trigger new cutscenes) but beyond that theres plenty of content and a good game for those who appreciate anime Mecha vn style games.

It's good but it's a visual novel, very slow paced, and long. It takes awhile for the story to get going.

One of the better story games ever. Wouldn't pay attention to the gameplay itself honestly. Play the game for the story and breeze through the combat.

Additional, if you play this game, I'd extremely recommend finishing the game without long breaks or going into a different game. 13 Sentinels has a lot going on, if with those paying full attention you'll likely end up confused, so long breaks would make things even harder

I feel like even though this game is reasonably popular and often on sale, it's going to be a sought after title that holds value down the road. I'm grabbing some now while I can.

Excellent! Gamestop also has a promo for "Buy select new titles $29.99+ and get 30% off 1 pre-owned title," so I also got Days Gone for $13.29 and free shipping for the two. The Besties (podcast) talked very highly of this game, so now that I finally have a PS5, I can't wait to dive in.

The prologue is a grind but the game makes it so worth it.

This game is another masterpiece from George Kamitani and VanillaWare. Crazy twisting bingeworthy story with a decent RTS style mech combat. If you liked this game, consider the other VanillaWare masterpieces

Odin Sphere (Ps2, but a remaster for ps4 is retooled and runs smoother) My personal favorite.
Muramasa: the Demon Blade (dust off your wii or ps vita)
Dragon's Crown (PS4)
GrimGrimoire (PS2)
