Does this use a "universal" attachment point that I could use to attach it to a "universal" string trimmer, etc.?

Got this for my dad a couple week ago at Home Depot. He has about 30 tall California palms and hadnt cut them for awhile because they got too much. This works really well and made it a lot easier to cut the palm trees. He has been sending me pictures all week of the work he has done.

I have some 4ah Ryobi batteries. Wondering if spending the extra money on the EGO pole saw attachment is worth it.

Have had this for a while. Spent 2 hours in January trimming oak trees with branches up to 6" in diameter and didn't event drain one 4ah battery. This saw is excellent for the price and can handle a lot of wood. Would buy again in a heartbeat, especially at this price.

Fwiw, I have a really nice Stihl gas powered chainsaw and opted not to use it for branches I could reach because this one worked so well and was so light.

You can get the batteries for $50ish plus tax . . . Has nothing to do with this tool.

Did you that with the stock chain and without sharpening in between?

My experience witg anything over about 3 inches is this struggles and quickly dulls the blade.
