Came across this online clearance deal when I was looking for a cordless Milwaukee drain auger / toilet and sink unclogger. Best price I have ever seen on something like this and a top rated product.

This is a urinal auger for 1-1/4 to 2" pipes. Been on clearance for a few weeks. The normal tool-only price is $119, so for this clearance savings you are getting a 1.5ah battery and M12 charger.

21 in stock.

If you look at the reviews, people are praising this with the 6' toilet cable, not the 4' one being sold here. Not sure this urinal kit is going to work, though someone in the reviews said it'll work for a tub drain. However, you can buy the 6' cable for $59 and still save about $40 off the current price of the auger kit that comes with only the 6' cable (currently $225 at HD).

I think there was a deal on a clog clearing system from Milwaukee but it used a compressed air blast. It had great reviews and bummed I didn't pull the trigger on that. Is there a good reason to use this over that?

Only reason I can think of is maybe super duper old pipes that might not be able to handle the pressure? Seems to me if that's the case it'd be better to replace than just unclog tho. I really wanted that air one, for apartment maintenance it doesn't seem to get any better than that.

Because that is wayy more expensive.

If you are looking (like me) for a cordless drain auger in the $100 range this is the best I have seen. Some of the reviews (on the standalone 4' urinal snake) say it also works great for standard toilets and sinks. It's a little awkward - may need to stand on something to reach - but I will deal with that over spending hundreds more.

Also, I have read the air snake pushes clogs further in which can cause more problems vs. these mechanical ones that can pull the clog out.

Depends on the clog, some clogs like hairballs you want to pull out with a snake instead of forcing it down further into the pipes with the compressed air thing.

Is this any good w (basement) floor (drain) traps, or mostly urinals? If so, I'm telling parent to buy it asap.
Their basement floor drain infrequently plugs up (depending on how much byproduct drains from their washing machine); Use to be
w ay more frequent when garbage disposal was still connected (or whenever they allowed excessive food stuff in with dishwasher load).
If this is the same device utilized by $75/hr local plumber, then yeah, score!

Reviews suggest it would work well for that use case. Although the marketing is urinal-centric it looks like it is very versatile and I purchased one for general household unclogging.

This is a silly product. If you're only clearing 4-6' of drain just use a $10 hand snake. There is no advantage to having a motor unless you're snaking out a long run.

I recently bought the Rigid K6P 6 ft. Toilet Auger for $50. I found it much easier to use once I connected my cordless drill rather than hand cranking. I have used it in the shower drain and also the toilet to remove some extremely stubborn clogs. It works well but only if the clogs are close to the drain.

For longer runs, I have also used a Ryobi P4002 18v auger. It worked OK, although if the cable was more heavy duty and longer it would have worked better for my situation. It has only a 25 ft. cable. I probably would have been better using the 50 ft P4003K but it was not available, plus it is considerably more expensive.

What really did the trick for clearing the long run was using a jetter snake with my gas pressure washer. It came with variety of specialized jet tips to use on the end of a compatible power washer hose to blast water while snaking it through the pipe. I bought it on Amazon for about $50. I had to remove the toilet but it did the job.
