LG OLED 77 C1 TV $2999 - Video Only (Northwest Region)

Just picked this up from Video Only for $2,999 out the door. Sales rep indicated this was after trading in my old TV but waived this requirement. Opted for the extended 5 year warranty for 100 bucks. See store flier.

Oh boy, if the C1 sales are starting this low at VideoOnly I'd imagine we're going to see ~$2000 prices when they eventually close them out. Probably even lower if the C2 gets a substantial upgrade (like the new brighter panel that's currently on the G1).

i'm hearing some really awesome things about Video Only but it seems like most people are only walking out with killer deals on the 77". has anyone scored a deal for the 48" or the 55"?

When I used to live in Seattle area, the place to go was Video Only. They had the best prices and service. It shows how some big box stores jack up the price and have room to move in their prices but simply don't.
They have been around a long time because of their price and reputation. Wish they were in Colorado area.

C1 and G1 has the same new Evo panel but only the G1 has the new software and processing chip to get the higher brightness.

My only data point was picking up a 65" C1 a couple weeks ago for $1875+tax with 5 year warranty. I was very impressed with their customer service. Very happy with the purchase.

not bad! that's $125 under their listing price and $425 under the current Best Buy price.

I worked for Video Only in College, and while I wasn't a fan of some of their policies (Ads for a TV that was never "IN stock" to sell you the one they DID have) they overall were a good company if you knew what you were looking for.

Keep in mind that all of their salespeople are on commission and have the power to negotiate. Whether it's free delivery or 100 bucks off a TV, ask and a lot of times they will be able to sweeten the deal. Know that some of the TVs have ZERO wiggle room, but if you also want a sound system or dvd player it adds some more room for negotiation.

The warranties are handled in house and a lot of the time they will just replace the TV if their TV tech can't handle it. I worked for them 20 years ago and believe that they will be around for a lot longer, have confidence in a 5 year warranty through them.

And while I know we have some DEAL HUNTERS here, please understand that asking for Tax included in a deal is normal, but asking for 50% off a TV is just unacceptable. I had a guy once who came in and dropped a stack of 100s in front of me and started to negotiate with the BIGGEST TV we had and demanded the $3k tv for $1500 out the door. I didn't even explain, i just laughed. Negotiation is ok, but don't be insulting, discounts come DIRECTLY out of the commission of the salesperson. If you're getting a deal, the salesperson is making less money, so a little politeness goes a long way.

(also, go near the end of the month when they need to get their sales numbers up - Some of the salespeople will dig a little harder to get some sales in)

Good Luck and Happy Hunting! (I worked at the Lynnwood Location before they moved, where the Convention center is now, just FYI)

Is it true Video Only doesn't give refunds but store credit instead? I think that was their policy a while back but not sure if it is now.

I got my OLED B7 from them in 2017 and it included a 5 year warranty. Havent needed to use it.

If you open up the box the policy is store credit. I actually originally purchased a Sony 65", and after getting it all set up, it just wasn't the right TV for me. I was very careful in unpacking to keep all the bits and pieces. I called them the next day and the salesman at Video Only was very understanding. I boxed up the Sony and they hooked me up with a solid deal on the 65" C1. So, if you want a Costco return policy, you gotta pay the higher price. However, I am now sold on Video Only just based on the combo of customer service and lower prices.

This is from a different post of mine, but I paid $2875 plus taxes, for 4 years extended warranty and free delivery. And this was over a month ago.
