Assassin's Creed is one of those games where I'll sit through for 10 sessions, finish the game and never want to touch another one for at least the few years. I finished this one a few years ago and while the story was good (main character had impeccable voice acting), it felt super fatiguing. I got the same feeling with Black Flag and Unity as well.

I've played all the AC games except for ACIII and Valhalla, and although I was a huge fan of the earlier games, I have to say that Origins and Odyssey were fantastic. It makes more sense to treat them as worlds to dive in and out of rather than missions to complete. That being said, I actually liked Origins better than Odyssey, and the DLC was great, too. What stressed me out about Odyssey were the choices, rather than the scale!

Ugh, I'm still so damn salty about them killing off Desmond. That was such a stupid money grubbing decision, and I hate whoever did it. The whole point of the game story was for Desmond to train/do recon in the past, and the last game was going to be a modern day assassins creed where you just play as Desmond. fark the corporate douchebags who decided they wanted to make more money by dragging this out forever.

I was burnt out from this series but it's been a few years since I finished Black Flags. I'm looking forward to getting back into this and bought the Gold Edition.

I also bought Odyssey for $11.50! $5 for the standard edition and $6.50 for the season pass on separate orders to use the FORWARD code twice more!

Does it for you? I've tried that and it won't even find the controller. Googling says that you need a USB dongle for xb1 controller to work with the PC. I have it wired and it works and I rock The Division 1 day in day out.
