Its only stupid for people careless enough to run over the cord. If you're not smart enough to start near the house and work out you probably shouldn't be trusted with a mower anyway.

I bought this during the Woot sale a few weeks ago since I had just moved into a house with a lawn that I needed to maintain and needed a mower. I was a little skeptical about it being corded, but it's actually very easy to handle. I have your average size yard and can easily do my front and back yards with less than 70ft of cord. I only have 1 tree to deal with which isn't so bad. I can see when you'd want battery powered if you had a bunch of trees, bushes, and other obstacles to navigate around. But if you don't, then this is a great mower to have.

No, it's a stupid concept for people too stupid to buy one of the other less stupid options. If you can't acknowledge the inherent stupidity in this choice you're too stupid to be allowed near the credit cards and computer, let alone power tools with sharp blades.
