Plastic and drywall will be fine but metal will make them single use.

maybe use them to mix a drink? tie a string to the case and use it as an anchor?

Thanks! Code worked for FS. I like the case. Even if the bits are just decent, having a case to organize my bits is a bonus.
They get pretty decent reviews on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/WoodRiver-...merReviews
"Far better than big box drill bits and at $25, it can't be beat. I bought some Milwakee bits from a big box. They wouldn't go into a standard hard wood. I tried these WoodRiver bits in the same piece of wood and they went right through it. I don't know why it is so hard to find good bits but luckily I found these. I was replacing some stellar bits I lose in a forest fire. I didn't realize there was such a gap in quality of what you buy in a store. This company was recommended by This Old House.
The case seems fine. It is made of metal and there is no rust. I noticed some complaints about it in previous reviews but the whole kit cost $25."
