It's not wifi but zigbee, which if you have, it runs great on (at least for me). my c by ge/cync's lose connection a fair bit, but I run these in the rooms I want to work 100% of the time because they do. dimmable but not tunable.
These have only dropped to $6 of less a couple times according to camel x3.
Highly recommend if you've got an Alexa with the zigbee hub.

Bought a few of them last time they do have a yellow tone but they connect to my hue system really easy, Have anyone seen if the daylight ones get to this price?
I hope it's not still the case, but I bought Cree LED bulbs from Lowe's a few years back, expecting the best of quality.
Their life was worse than the garbage array-type LEDs from the early days of LED home lighting.
Bought a 6-pack of the daylight version of these for about $20 awhile back and they're great! Turn on/off like a regular bulb when used with a regular switch, and then work great paired to my hue hub for dimming/scheduling. (Just gave to remember to use the Google home controls rather than the physical switch.)

It works with echo but not with echo dot.

If you turn the switch off then you won't be able to control it with your hub. Otherwise it will work like any other dumb light bulb.
"Dumb bulb"? Hey, I resemble that remark!
Lol. Smart light bulb vs regular "dumb bulb"
