Got notification within minutes of switching plan to yearly no-ads. I had just paid for this month a few days ago, so my total was prorated. This may make it difficult to get the deal with the $99 with-ads plan.

Clarify it's spend 99.99, not 100. I initially discarded it because I don't pay tax on streaming so I wouldn't hit $100.
Is there an end date to the offer?

99.99 with ads is way too much for HBO by my standard... and taxes on top of it.
May be useful to people who are already paying for HBO annually.
I really hate ads so if I have to use any streaming service I would always go with the no-ads.

Our free hbomax promo (via AT&T) expires in Sept, so I may consider this. Anyone know if the ad-free version is going to continue to get in-theater same day releases for 4 weeks? Or is that just a temporary perk?
