Thanks for confirming my doubts about handling larger/heavier devices. Still gonna get one at this price because I can see using my phone with it (hands-free while eating lunch, for example). I use a magnetic holder in my vehicles, so may add a few magnets to this to increase reliability since my phone case is already set up for that anyway.
