This Chase offer above for 50+ x 2 will likely want the merchant type listed as "Telecommunication services". (This is what I see when I pay my cellphone bill online at T-Mobile). (Incidentally this is the same classification they use to determine the 5 percent back for Chase Freedom Q1 2021 for Phone Services — this makes sense: you can't expect 5 percent back for a $1000 phone you buy at a T-Mobile store)
To answer your question: just make two payments online at T-Mobile for $50 each - and it'll trigger a $100 chase credit back — you'll just have credit on your phone bill - shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't cancel within the next few months.
P.S. - For similar offers at Verizon/AT&T in the past I received instant notifications that the offer was indeed triggered.

If you click the "update alert preferences" on the deal and set it to alert you once an offer if triggered/redeemed etc , it alerts you just like Amex Offers etc..
Thanks!
