PCMag gave 2/5 for the TCL 150 (at $39.99):

"their open design is problematic, both from an audio standpoint and in terms of in-ear fit security. Coupled with unimpressive battery life, you can find far better options, even at this affordable price."

That's just subjective, open/half ears are comfortable long wear earbuds that allow for good circulation, not good against noise but not every situation needs noise canceling. That they think every headphone should be a rubber earplug is just ridiculous.

That being said the battery life is just cheap average.
how do people feel about these vs. say, anker brand similarly priced buds?

Went with the Jabra 65t refurb for $35 on Amazon, +$3 for a 2 year protection program. Think I'll be good with Jabra. 😁

Does anyone know how these compare to Apple Airpods for ear sizing?

Exactly, I could not stand noise canceling buds for telework, had to go open ear. 1, need to be able to hear kids if something comes up, 2 can't stand the closed sound how loud I sound to myself while wearing them. Strange not many low cost options and all the hate they get.

Totally agree. I have found that the non-pro EarPods are best for working now because you can hear through them. I'd like to find some decent alternatives to say have one to pair with the laptop and one with the phone.
