Not having to exchange a ratchet at 2 am is even more convenient.
Wtf does that even mean.
You really cant compare the two in any favorable light.

Once you have felt how smoothly the 90 tooth SK turns, and feel how precision machined it is (or how loose the Hart is), you know why one costs more.

If you need a ratchet a couple times a year, the Hart is probably fine.

If you use your tools daily, you are gonna need the SK

I've got some SK Tools from my grandfather that must be 60+ years old. He used them every day. I'll pass them on to my grandchildren and I'm confident that they will still be 100% on the job.

It's crazy to me how inflated hand tool prices are. I'm sure these are great ratchets, but so are the 3/8 and 1/4 90 tooth Hart ratchets I got in a set for $28.Obviously, it comes down to the whole "Being made in America" thing, which I do support. Just hard for me to swallow the prices, especially with them not having much of a physical location around me. I don't love supporting Walmart, but being able to exchange a ratchet at 2 am sure is convenient.

I'm not a big SK fan, but these are a pretty solid deal. There's better ratchets out there, but you won't find them anywhere close to this price.

I have heard of people having issues with SK warranty customer service over the past year, and there's rumors SK is being sold to somebody less favorable to US manufacturing. So take that warranty with a bit of a grain of salt. Same with the whole "tool truck" comparison, but I digress.

SK sent me a repair kit for an old ratchet inherited that wobbled like crazy. I would recommend this company. I havent used their new stuff but I bet they are well made. These would go well with some williams sockets.

If I didn't already have the 120xp set from gearwrench, I'd be all over these. I'm certain these are nicer, the 120xp have a significant amount of backdrag. Thanks OP
