Basically $200 off across all iPhone 12 minis and carriers.

Activation Required.

No trade-in, no unlimited plan or new line needed, no monthly bill credits, just flat $200 discount from Best Buy. You can elect to be on a monthly payment plan or even pay it off with a one-time payment and see the $200 discount reflected in the final price.

here's the fine print fyi:

SAVE $200 ON IPHONE 12 MINI OFFER:
*Savings are deducted off the full total price of the phone and are reflected in instant savings which will result in reduced monthly payments for the term of the agreement on your carrier account. Savings promotion may not be combinable with other credits, discounts and offers. Maximum savings listed may not be available for all phones and/or from all carriers. Carriers, phones and coverage (including 5G) not available in all markets. Requires credit approval, wireless service plan, qualifying phone and an installment billing agreement for the carrier's required term. $0 down for well-qualified customers. For all others, down payment and other restrictions may apply. Monthly phone payments for term (20−36 months subject to carrier) at retail price. 0% APR. Sales tax (on total price) may be due at purchase. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on device becomes due. Restocking fee and other charges may apply. Number of financed devices per account limitations may apply. Subject to carrier terms and conditions. Terms subject to change. Excludes prepaid and unlocked phones. See a Blue Shirt for details.

short answer: for now there is no similar deal for the Pro, or even the regular 12 for that matter.

long answer: I've been waiting for a deal like this, meaning no unlimited plan, porting or trade-in required, which was pretty much a norm pre-pandemic. The mini not selling as much as anticipated could be one reason as these type of discounts usually take place between change of model season, like October (after September announcements), November (thanksgiving) and December (christmas, but not during christmas, only 1st 2 weeks in December) in the past. Deals come when more sales are generated as we have seen in the past between 2019 and 2020. As long as Covid is dealt with completely within the states, we will have a strong shopping season rebounded this holiday season and all the deals that we can handle. At least this is my personal opinion.

i saw on the costco coupon book of 6/23/2021 that its warehouse will have a $200 off for AT&T iPhone 12s (including Pro). But I haven't found its fine print yet.

here you go:
https://www.verizon.com/support/device-unlocking-policy/
https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1262649
https://www.sprint.com/en/legal/unlocking-your-sprint-device.html

basically,
verizon - 60 days since account activation and active account - automatic
at&t - 60 days since account activation and active account - submit request
sprint - 40 days since account activation and active account - submit request

i can't be sure. last i heard they are still working on combining their networks and so the phones might not immediately work. eventually, tho, whatever you have on sprint should work under tmobile.

see the details here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/clp-cell-phones/verizon-iphone-trade-in/pcmcat1617307683680.c?id=pcmcat1617307683680

it should stack, but they did mention that "Savings may not be combinable with other credits, discounts and offers." I'd reach out to BB.

As it mentioned that the trade-in promotion is executed by Verizon and not BB, you may actually just sign in to your account at www.vzw.com/tradein and see how it will go.

Note that an unlimited plan is required for the trade-in offer.

Only for qualified activation.... guessing for
New activation and/or upgrade only. Not sure if the phones are unlocked either.

Last I heard was that Verizon unlocks the devices automatically after 60 days of service. Not sure about AT&T/ Tmobile.

Can you pay this off immediately upon picking up at Best Buy? Anyone know how to get rid of the ATT $30 upgrade fee? I am assuming even if you pay off, you are put into a 36 month contract?

Seems to be $30 more across the board for att and T-Mobile. Everyone else seeing this? $499 only shows up for Verizon.

Worth upgrading from SE 2020? I like small phones, but battery life on my SE is terrible already.
