There was a clinical study done; I haven't seen the results but summary was;

As part of its FDA De Novo Request grant, Tivic Health's clinical studies showed that ClearUP was effective in treating moderate to severe congestion. Study subjects with moderate to severe congestion reported on average 35% reduction in congestion symptoms 10 minutes after a ClearUP treatment and this was significantly greater than placebo. After four weeks of regular use, subjects reported an average 44% reduction in congestion symptoms.

Why this instead of a Nel-Med squirt bottle? Cheap and reusable. Better than my navage which went in the trash.

I am the one who lives with congested nose due to permanent allergy and this thing works for me like a miracle. So consider me added to the clinical study they did.

Because you don't need to put anything in you nose. You can use this little thing while walking in the park, driving, etc.
Honestly, I did not expect anything from it but decided to give it a try. Very pleased with the results.
