Both the camera and the base station have micro sd storage. Free cloud storage is 12 seconds every minute. I have the plus subscription and have not messed with the SD cards so I'm not sure of the details on the how and when they store content to the cards.

Most significant differences IMO
Blink uses easily replaceable batteries that last up to two years.
Wyze uses built in battery that lasts maybe up tp a year before you have to dismount the camera and take it inside to charge for x hours.
Blink supports up to 20s clips
Wyze cam I believe is limited to 12s (unless you pay extre), but it supports local storage also.

This is the price I paid for the 'starter kit' with 1 camera + a separate spare camera (total of 2) without the Echo Show the last time Wyze outdoor cam went on sale. So this is not only a good price for Wyze stuff but also a free Echo Show

Quality of these cams? These cams are a few years old now and was debating getting these to use with the wyze security system

Not as good as the V3 but if you're looking for wireless this is your only option. If you have the ability to wire/plug in, i would recommend the V3s.

I have 3 cameras and the farther away from the base station the higher the battery drain. I switched cameras to test that too. It's significant. Two at 10ft away is at 72% and 64%. Third at 35ft away is at 50% and has one alert for every 10 of the others. It's been about 2 weeks since I charged all of them.

That said I hate that you can't choose the color of the Echo Show in the bundles. They only come with the black one. Otherwise I'd get the blink outdoor and wyze outdoor bundles.

The quality of the outdoor cameras is horrible. It is slow, and you cannot do playback. Do not buy these. Look online at you tube reviews. They are junk and I'm a WYZE fan. Get the 3rd generation of the regular camera and you can also use it outdoors.

I've been using my V2s outdoors too in all kinds of weather (-20F winters, humid summers, 100 degree heat). They haven't missed a beat in a few years. They just need to be under an overhang or soffit of the house so they don't get direct rain. For a $20 cam I'm happy to replace one every few years if that's all they last outside.

They are very slow. A normal WYZE has very little lag. The outdoor camera is a minute and a half before you see things. I want real time images.

Get the wyze cam v3. Don't buy these. I have wyze v2, v3 and 2k eufy. Eufy is best but v3 is really good too.

Just tested both my outdoor cams on WiFi and 5G. Was able to view them both live in under 7 seconds. These aren't perfect but if you don't have a power option to run a V3 these will do the trick. Of course you can't record 24 hours like some people have complained…. It's on a battery. Duh!

Bad quality, but in your cart all day? Interesting tactic.

Y'all's comments are making me regret buying this deal! But seriously, thanks for the input. I have a bunch of v2 cameras but wanted to go full wireless outside. I guess I'll test some out and see how it goes before I commit.
