Here is one review: Cons: touch screen is not useful, it would better to replace touch screen with higher color (RGB) screen. Fan noise is a little loud.
At this price, it's hard to find 300 nits. Even 300 won't make a big difference under the sun.
Since I don't watch dirty videos outside, it's OK.

To put this in perspective. This 5700u is 5 times better than my Intel i7 that was using daily in my personal laptop and 4.5 times better than the i7 that I use in my work laptop to do massive spreadsheets and data modeling.
There is literally nothing that this 5700u processor won't do.
Lenovo Flex 14 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop, 14 Inch FHD Touchscreen Display, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor, 12GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, Windows 10, 81SS000DUS, Black, Pen Included

It's not the most powerful thing, but I'm able to play a lot of games good enough for my tastes.
Would this one be significantly better for gaming? Thanks!

I haven't had anything more than windows defender for the last 5 years and have no problems. Can't see why I'd change that up now haha
I just got mine 2 days ago, the 5700U, 16 GB option. It does have touch screen(250 nits) and finger print scanner.
Charging it with USB-C cable since day 1(using 65W charger). Dell's brick charger still in the box untouched <--- hate the dedicated charging cable.
Single charge of the laptop can last 12 hour straight with lighter work easily.
My fan doesn't always turn on but there's this application called "Notebook FanControl" set the config to Dell Inspiron 7375 and it can control the fan perfectly, but if you are running some heavy stuff make sure to turn it on. I like to turn it off when I'm just doing excel and browsing. laptop stays around 35~45 C without a fan on.
I did turn off "processor performance boost mode" from the power options, since I don't do video/photo editing. Base clock speed is plenty.
Set the "processor performance increase threshold" to 85% , turn system cooling policy to passive to keep it as cool as it can and prevent the fan to turn on.
One thing kind of bothers me is the right click on the touchpad. Mine does not register when I press it, I hear the click not the right click option won't show up, can anyone share their touchpad experience? I can always use 2 finger touch to enable the right click option, since I do like this laptop not sure if I should to return it.
I did. But I have the inspiron with 5500u not 5700u. Can you tell me about all the steps that you took?
Make sure fan control service status is "Enabled".. try to pull the slide to 50%.
I noticed you can't really control it at the specific fan speed, If I set it at 5%.. then it will be around 12% but still can't hear it so it's fine by me.

Also When I switched to Inspiron 7375, the fan control and temperature reading were much better, so I think that is the configuration to choose.
